Glim Music New Way of Music Production Helping Creators

The music industry has so many resources that make it easier to be a part of from cheaper tools and more available education. With more people joining the music industry, though, getting noticed is getting even harder. Greg Lim, aka. Glim, a recent Valedictorian graduate from Full Sail’s Music Production degree program, and his business Glim Music LLC are taking a unique approach towards making a living out of music. He’s doing it in a way that helps others, starting in their respective media fields. Glim is working with aspiring film producers, game producers, streamers, podcasters, and more, to create a low-cost entry point for productions that everyone could reap the benefits from in this age of digital streaming.

Since he was age thirteen, he has suffered from mental illness has been a constant struggle for Glim. Managing his mental illness and facing social problems while attending school. Glim turned to music and video games to distract himself from the pain, all of which affected him. It wasn’t until high school Glim decided that instead of throwing his life away; he wanted to use his life. He had to have a purpose in helping others in need. With the help of his supportive wife, peers, children, a sense of purpose, and experience of what it can achieve with each step that is taken have kept him going strong. The realization of his purpose that he would try to help others realize their purpose and dreams.

Glim uses his talent as a music creator and other creative fields to help others. Then he manages the distribution and marketing of the music and other tools he produced to earn revenue, of which he shares a portion back to the producers. Through these productions and the support of these producers, Glim hopes to expand his listener and fan base, which would further bring revenue to the projects he’s worked on. Glim’s approach to the music industry will benefit producers trying to get their feet wet in any production style and help those with the right mindset and production plans get started in their respective industries.
