Patreon Helps Star Citizen Content Creators Like “The Eradicator” in Content Creation

GeekCitizen42 sat down with The Eradicator to talk about content creation. The Eradicator is a content creator on YouTube, as at the time of publication, he has 1.7 thousands of subscribers. He also streams on Twitch 1.2 thousands of followers. The Eradicator lives in Taiwan with his family. He is originally from Brittany. Which they called themselves Bretons.
The Eradicator’s Patreon has been a big part of what The Eradicator does. Patreon helps not just providing financial support where his supporters can subsidies him, but also helps keep his supporters in the know of what is going on, and The Eradicator uses his supporters for ideas on what type of content they want to see. He couldn’t believe the first time he got a Patreon supporter.
The Eradicator said, “I remember my first Patreon, and that was in February 2019. I didn't even have I barely had a thousand subs on YouTube back in those days. His name is Gogol Tron. He still is a member of the Discord. I was mind blown. I was I was very small, was like, why would anyone support me over some of the other bigger guys who do that so much better tonight than I do?”
Geek Citizen asks, “Why are they so important?”
The Eradicator said, “I think that it's very important to always keep these people who support you in mind when you're creating content, when, you know, you hear a lot, you know, those content creators say that, you know, you guys are the one who will keep me going or you will keep me making these videos. And when you are not creating content or when you don't have these supporters.”
The Eradicator continues, “Quite often Patreon represents in terms of revenue, represents more than what I'm earning on YouTube. So that means that the support I get for Pitt on Patreon literally. Is the main the primary engine, of the content that I'm creating right now. And that's why that's why I'm extremely grateful, humbled by that support. And. You guys are extremely important to me for what I'm making. "
Patreon gives content creator like The Eradicator and other the financial support that they need in continuing their content creation. It gives them a way to learn from their supporters and what they want.
