Starjump’s Content Creation Helps the Community of Star Citizen

There are many content creators out there in the world of Star Citizen. One of the rising group of Creators is the group called Starjump. Which is led byGrim and Ender. They have been a part of the community since April 2020. When they created Starjump. They sat down for an interview recently with us.

When asked about their beginnings from starting out back in 2020 into a phenomenon Grim had to say, “It's been extremely humbling, especially in the very beginning when I was doing the cinematics. For me personally, it was humbling because the channel really grew from nothing. I mean, the YouTube channel had earlier had one follower, you know what I mean? And to see it now grow into the thousands and now our streaming endeavors on Twitch have grown as well. Thanks to Ender's attention, our community has grown.”

When asked how they built up their community of followers, Ender said, “I did nothing. I just spent 5 hours on a sleepless night while I was waiting for work to build the community up. It was super easy to get done. And man, it's been nice ever since.”

The Fleet Viewer is the project that most people are most familiar with. It’s a project that put them on the map in the community of Star Citizen. This project allows any member of the community to take ships and show them in high-resolution images and more.

Grim said, “I think the project I'm currently most proud of, and that's because I'm nearing the finish line on it, is the fleet viewer. It's not. From a technical perspective or creative perspective, I wouldn't call it the most creative or most technical project that I've done. But the age of cinematic is there. Oh, yeah. But I think I'm most proud of the fleet viewer, because I know it's going to be something that the community itself can use and become its own creation tool for the community.”

Ender added, “I'm most proud of is being able to help build our community to what it is right now. Now, you know, we're doing the machinima and I'm loving the machinima, but I think that community is, is what I am most proud of. Yeah. And building that.”

They have many other projects are working on that will see the light of day soon enough. One is a project they recently started is a machinima. What exactly what it is about we can only get them to talk about. The community can only wait to see what that project is about. They talk about them in a recent Starjump Twitch cast. There will be many future opportunities to see Starjump. Where it will go the future only knows.
