The XenoThreat to the Stanton System has recently came and gone from the game of Star Citizen by Cloud Imperium Games (CIG). For those who helped thwart the previous XenoThreat incursions will know what it is all about. For new players this was an opportunity for them to experience the event for the first time. This event is one of the most popular events in the Star Citizen Community.

This event has several components to it that can make it appealing to all players. The first part of the XenoThreat event is an announcement to those in game that the event will start soon. Fist the announcement from XenoThreat. Warning anyone interfering with their plans will suffer the consequences. The Civilian Defense forces (CDF) Special Agent in Charge CGF Stanton System Coordinator Rowena Dulli ask the players to help with protecting Stanton. To watch for contracts in their MobiGlas.

Then second phase the event starts. This phase has several and most diverse aspects to the player to choose from. The CDF’s Rowena Dulli calls for all the help she can get. She is calling fighter pilots, cargo haulers, and mercenaries to come help repel XenoThreat. This phase need pilots to take on the fighter and Capital ships attacking the area near Jericho Station.

Mercenaries go into wreaks to eliminate members of the XenoThreat in the destroyed Cargo ships. The Cargo Hauler take the Cargo from the destroyed ship to Jericho Station to help repair the Javelin docked at the station. There are also a group of player pirates that will take on the friendly players. All Citizens must watch out for them also. The third phase takes you into an all-out fleet battle. XenoThreat brings eight capital ships along with hundreds of fighters to protects them. The Javelin is repaired and joins the CDF forces to clear Stanton System of XenoThreat. This is the most dangerous phase. Ships are all over the place and there is a high risk of collisions. The risk is worth it due to the pay. Citizens can make up to 500,000 aUEC or more on a run.

XenoThreat is loved by the Citizen Community and will be waited for the next time it comes around.
